One dead, one wounded in South Bay shooting

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- One person is dead and another is wounded after a shooting Friday evening in the South Bay, police said.

The shooting was reported around 5:30 p.m. near Hidden Trails Drive and Ocean View Hills Parkway in San Diego's Ocean View Hills neighborhood, according to police.

Both victims were taken to a hospital. One victim died from their injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
