One person killed in shooting at South Bay recreation center

SAN DIEGO -- One person was fatally shot Friday at a recreation center in the Otay Mesa West neighborhood, authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 7:03 p.m. at the Montgomery-Waller Recreation Center, located at 3020 Coronado Avenue, San Diego police confirmed to FOX 5.

Authorities were at the scene investigating the incident.
