PA group pushing for hand-counting ballots stops in Blair County

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A conservative group, Push Back PA, made a stop in Blair County on Tuesday in their efforts to advocate for hand-counting ballots.

On July 30, the group hosted an event at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hollidaysburg. There they hosted Karen Taylor, Founder and CFO of Audit the Vote PA. Audit the Vote PA was founded after the 2020 election when the group petitioned for a full forensic audit of the election.

That petition received over 120,000 signatures. During the event, Taylor demonstrated a simplified method for hand-counting ballots to help prepare volunteers in the event that they are needed.
