A pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles, one of which dragged them down the street in L.A.'s Venice neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the first vehicle collided with the pedestrian as they were crossing in an unmarked crosswalk in the 700 block of Venice Boulevard at 11:19 p.m.
A second vehicle then struck and dragged the victim, LAPD said.
Video obtained by KTLA shows firefighters working quickly to raise the car off the ground and free the pedestrian, who was pinned underneath a black BMW.
