Pedestrian hospitalized after struck by vehicle in Vernal on Pioneer Day

VERNAL, Utah (ABC4) -- While Vernal officers were actively enforcing crosswalk laws on Main Street for Pioneer Day, a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in another part of the city.

Vernal Police Department said Thursday that a pedestrian was struck and injured Wednesday, July 24, while crossing the street using a crosswalk. She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim's identity was not released.
