Pensacola felon arrested on drug, gun possession charges: FHP

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man was arrested after authorities say they found drugs and a gun during a traffic stop.

The Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release that troopers on Tuesday arrested 34-year-old Oderious Anthony Merritt — who officials said is a felon out on parole — after he was driving 76 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone on Pine Forest Road.
