SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A long-awaited biking and walking path in San Diego is coming Saturday.
The Pershing Bikeway project, which goes through Balboa Park and between North Park and downtown San Diego, has been in the works for over two years following two deadly crashes in 2021.
One of the deaths was a 35-year-old man riding a rental scooter in a bike lane on Pershing Drive near the Balboa Park Golf Course when he was hit and killed by a vehicle.
