Petition seeks to change Brownsburg’s town status
BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A Brownsburg Town Council member is pushing for a major change that could reshape the community’s future.
A petition is circulating in the community backed by Brownsburg Town Council member Glenn Adams, a Republican. The petition calls for the town to officially change its status to a city, which would mean a mayor would be elected instead of only a clerk-treasurer and the councilors.
