Philadelphia man charged after allegedly striking two Maryland troopers during car rallies

Bowie, MD – A Philadelphia man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly striking two Maryland State Troopers with a vehicle during illegal car rally events in Prince George’s County, prompting a multi-agency investigation involving state and federal law enforcement.

Isaiah Vega, 19, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been charged with first- and second-degree assault and assault on a law enforcement officer following consultation with the Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney. Vega is currently being held without bond in Prince George’s County after his arrest in connection with the November incidents.
