PHOTOS: Utah lake's popular 'toilet bowl' arch collapses

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- A popular geological feature often referred to as the "Toilet Bowl" on Lake Powell collapsed on Thursday, officials with the National Park Service confirmed.

The NPS said the popular "Double Arch" -- which has also been called the "Toilet Bowl," "Crescent Pool," and "Hole in the Roof" -- in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area collapsed on Aug. 8.
