Pizza chain opening locations in 92 Walmart stores

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Texas-based pizza chain Mr Gatti's Pizza announced Thursday its plans to team up with Walmart and have new locations in 92 stores in the coming years.

Mr Gatti's Pizza said in a news release it plans to open a dozen restaurants in Walmart stores in northern Texas and southern Oklahoma by the end of 2024.

"Driven by the retailer's focus on value and quality, Walmart approached us about a partnership because it recognized Mr Gatti's as a regional favorite with a 55-year legacy of delivering exceptional taste and experiences to our customers," Mr Gatti's Pizza CEO Jim Phillips said in the release.

Mr Gatti's Pizza says it plans to have locations in four states, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Kentucky but hopes to expand to more states in the future.
