Police ID 6-year-old killed in UTV rollover crash

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The investigation continues after a 6-year-old boy died over the weekend in Old Jamestown.

According to Sgt. Tracy Panus, a county police spokeswoman, the crash happened in the 4500 block of Dieckmann Lane. Officers received a call for an accidental injury just after 7:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Panus said the Cristobal Deleon was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to the police, Deleon was a passenger in a Polaris UTV that an older child was driving. The older child lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll. Deleon, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the vehicle.
