POLICE: Johnsonburg woman tried to hit man with vehicle

ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnsonburg woman is facing charges after police say she endangered the life of a three-year-old while allegedly attempting to hit a man with her vehicle.

State police out of Ridgway said Shaylyn Agnello, 29, attempted to hit a man with her vehicle on July 26, police said.

Around 3:30 p.m., police were called to a parking lot along the 1100 of Rocky Road, Ridgway Township. When they arrived, the victim and Agnello were standing in the parking lot, with the victim refusing to cooperate with troopers because he did not want Agnello to be arrested, charges show.

As police investigated, they witnessed on security footage a verbal argument in the parking lot between Agnello and the victim. According to the criminal complaint, Agnello accelerated her vehicle at a high rate of speed and circled the parking lot in an attempt to hit the victim, who was walking back to the building.
