Police: 'Multiple people' shot in Aurora, East Colfax closed

DENVER (KDVR) — Police said multiple people were shot Thursday afternoon in Aurora.

Few details were immediately available. The Aurora Police Department posted about the shooting at 3:27 p.m. and said officers were on the scene in the area of Colfax Avenue and Jamaica Street.

"We are still working to gather details on victims," the department said.

Eastbound Colfax was closed for the investigation.
