CONCOURSE, The Bronx (PIX11) -- Police say they're looking for two men who allegedly slashed a subway rider in the Bronx, late Wednesday night.
The incident happened on board a downtown 4 train at the 167th street station just before 11 p.m.
A 51-year-old man was slashed in the face after confronting two men who tried to go through his bag, according to police. The pair initially walked away when the 51-year-old confronted them but then allegedly attacked him when the train pulled into the 167th street station.
Authorities say the two men ran off in an unknown direction while the 51-year-old got off at 149th street and was taken to Lincoln Hospital.
