LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - With the election only a few months away, election committees across Arkansas are gearing up and recruiting poll workers to man the polls.
Pulaski County alone needs 900 workers, and right now they only have 400 applications on file.
Election committee chair Amanda Dickens said they usually get a good response from people returning from years past, but many of them are now at retirement age and will not be returning.
As a result, they are seeking a younger demographic for longevity although all are welcome to come. The main requirement is that you are at least 18 years old and registered to vote in Pulaski County.
Applications can be found online at VotePulaski.net.
