SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- This evening, we're also learning more about one of the victims of a deadly Sioux Falls crash.

Early Sunday morning, Sioux Falls Police say a man was driving drunk and looking down at his phone when he hit and killed a man and woman on North Cliff Avenue.

51-year-old Michael James and 29-year-old Shereena Jones were towing a car and had stopped to adjust the tow rope. On Sunday, friends and family members gathered to remember James.

This afternoon, people came together once again. This time in honor of a woman known to those close to her as "Nena."

Friends and family members gather on North Cliff Avenue to say a prayer for Nena Jones.

Her family traveled about three and a half hours today.

"We came here to grab my daughter, her remains, her body, but more importantly, we're taking her spirit with us. Her spirit belongs back home with her, with her family, and not up here roaming the streets," Nena's father, Whitney Jones said.
