Rescue on the Pig Sioux-ee River

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- It wasn't your typical water rescue near Falls Park in downtown Sioux Falls.

Around 11 a.m Thursday, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was called in to rescue a runaway pig.

They brought in a boat and put a drone in the air. Eventually, they caught up with the little pig on an island made of sand, following a little bit of drama, and some running around, they were able to catch the pig in a net and bring it to safety.
