Robertsdale teacher arrested after allegedly stealing purse, using credit cards: Police

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Robertsdale Elementary School teacher accused of stealing someone's purse and using their credit cards at two local businesses has been arrested, according to the Robertsdale Police Department.

45-year-old Dubravka Mazel Cengalovic was arrested and booked into the Baldwin County Jail on Thursday.

According to the RES website, Cengalovic is a fifth-grade teacher and has worked at the school for over 14 years.

On Tuesday, RPD posted to Facebook that they were looking to identify two women who were wanted in connection with a theft on Monday.

Police said one of the women in that post was identified as Cengalovic.

The theft allegedly happened at the Bird Dog Chicken Co., restaurant in Robertsdale.
