San Diego County adopts $9.16 billion budget for fiscal year

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors adopted a $9.16 billion balanced budget for fiscal year 2026-27, which increases county spending by $522 million and allocates funds for public safety, healthcare, food assistance, mental health care, fire protection, libraries, parks, roads, and help getting people off the streets.
