San Diego native Taylor Fritz, teammate win Olympic bronze in tennis

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Another San Diego-connected athlete will be leaving Paris with a medal after Team USA took bronze in tennis doubles on Saturday.

San Diego-born Taylor Fritz, 26, and his teammate Tommy Paul, 27, battled it out against Tomas Machac, 23, and Adam Pavlasek, 29, of Czechia, winning the match 6-3, 6-4

Prior to the third place determining match, their teammates Austrin Krajicek, 34, and Rajeev Ram, 40, won silver after being defeated by Team Australia, who took the gold.
