Scorching heat and thunderstorms continue for Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) - Happy Wednesday, Utah! Yesterday we saw record-breaking heat in downtown Salt Lake City (100 degrees), SLC International Airport (104 degrees), Spanish Fork (102 degrees), and BYU Provo (103 degrees), but we hop on a cooling trend today.

The bottom line? Another dry hot day today, but a weekend cold front will knock temperatures back and bring more widespread thunderstorms.
