SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) - Happy Tuesday, Utah! We had a dry start to the work week with a stronger southwest flow in place and heightened fire danger.
Today, we have a trough tracking east from the Pacific Northwest and while it's north of Utah, we may see an increase of cloud cover toward the state line, and even an isolated shower or storm near the Idaho border this afternoon. The passing clouds and northerly flow will help keep temperatures near seasonal norms through midweek along with gusty winds in central and southern Utah.
Bottom Line? Gusty winds along central and southern Utah through Tuesday evening will keep critical fire weather in place.
