CLAYTON, Mo. - Authorities have arrested a second teenager in connection with a man's murder in Clayton, Missouri last year, nearly nine months after his death.
The Clayton Police Department announced the arrest of 19-year-old Darrion Johnson on Thursday. Authorities issued an at-large warrant for Harris' arrest on December 5, 2023.
Johnson and another teenager, Trenell Johnson, are accused in the death of Joshua D. Harris on November 13, 2023. Police say they are not related, despite the same last name. Both face charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action amid the investigation.
According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, Harris was fatally shot after he confronted a group of people who were allegedly breaking into cars. At the time, Harris, his wife and his baby had recently moved to the St. Louis area.
Trenell Johnson was arrested three days after the death of Harris.
