NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Seis Puentes Hispanic Outreach celebrated the grand opening Wednesday of its new building located on Macarthur Drive in the Levy neighborhood.
Executive Director Raul Fernández said Seis Puentes’ mission is to build a bridge between Hispanic communities through education, information and resources.
“What Seis Puentes is just a friendly face – it’s having a friend,” Fernández said. “It’s having resources. it can be English classes. It can also be a nail salon recommendation, a babysitter recommendation or a place to find a job. If you come into Seis Puentes no matter who you are, you're going to leave with something you didn't have before.”
The Levy neighborhood was selected because it’s said to have the highest percentage of Hispanic and immigrant populations in North Little Rock.
