Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Pine Valley, Descanso; expect hail, high winds

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of San Diego County Tuesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 3:30 p.m. for the area of Pine Valley and Descanso.

Those in the impacted areas can expect heavy rain and possible flash flooding and winds up to 60 mph, while quarter-sized hail is possible, according to NWS.
