Sewell Family breaks ground on new Midland dealership

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - The Sewell Family of Companies held a groundbreaking on Thursday and will be operating a new dealership out of Midland soon.

The new dealership will house three different showrooms, offering BMW, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC vehicles. The new location will also have a Press Cafe and E.F. Outfitters.

"We've been in Midland since 2017 with our BMW dealership, and really the goal all along was how do we create a footprint and campus very similar to what we did with our Ford dealership in Odessa, and we acquired the land in 2019 and then obviously the world changed for a few years so we were delayed in really being able to start, so it's exciting to see a five year dream really coming to reality," said Collin Sewell, President of Sewell Family of Companies.

“The groundbreaking of the new Sewell development marks an exciting expansion of West Midland, along our rapidly growing commercial corridor on Highway 191. The Sewell Family of Companies has long been a valued community partner in the Permian Basin. Midland is happy to welcome their expansion and further investment in our city. The new location is expected to open in 2026 at the corner of Avalon and Deauville in West Midland.
