SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The first event coming to the brand-new Frontwave Arena in Oceanside when it opens this fall is Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles' "Gold Over America Tour."
Construction on the Frontwave Arena is expected to be finalized in late August, Ryan Keim, the Deputy Mayor of Oceanside, told FOX 5/KUSI on Friday, and the first event scheduled at the new arena is the "Gold Over America Tour (GOAT)" featuring Simone Biles on Sept. 17, 2024.
Fresh off the 2024 summer Olympics in Paris, France, which runs through Aug. 11, Biles, now the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all time, and team, will be taking the show on the road to tour 30 arenas across the United States this fall, starting in Oceanside on Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
