ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged a Southwest employee at St. Louis Lambert International Airport with allegedly stealing hundreds of flight vouchers using passenger names.
According to the Airport Police Department, between Aug. 1, 2023, and Sept. 28, 2023, Southwest conducted an in-house investigation and found one of its customer service agents printed the vouchers using the names of previous passengers and then redeeming those vouchers for himself.
A Southwest investigator said Brooklyn Jones (age not provided) wrote a statement confessing to the thefts and was willing to surrender the vouchers he had.
