MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — South Texas College Office of Academic Affairs and Economic Development is opening an office at its Mission Center.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Center for Education and Economic Development located at 801 N. Bryan Road.
Carlos Margo, Dean of the Center of Advanced Training and Apprenticeships, said the opening of the new office allows STC to expand its offerings through the workforce training program.
"This will allow us to be closer to the community and offer more diverse courses, conference rooms, classrooms and lab space," Margo said.
Through the partnership, STC will have the opportunity to host personal skills development, business development and emerging technology courses.
