SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Friday's global cyber outage left a lot of weekend travel plans up in the air for people flying in and out of Sioux Falls.
Frustrated fliers inside the terminal were waiting and wondering when they would finally be able to arrive at their destinations.
Washington High School senior Naomi Lofano is heading to a Best Buddies leadership camp in Indiana. But a delay in her connecting flight has left her an unhappy camper.
"I'd be very sad because I've been very excited to go," Naomi said.
Mom is reluctant to send her daughter off if it only means more delays along the way.
"Do you leave your 17-year-old child sitting in an airport four hours away and let them sit there and okay, what point do you go pick them up and say sorry, you missed it," Kimberlie Lofano said.
Many people were sitting for hours at the terminal waiting on fixes to the outage. They're grateful that at least some technology was working to pass the time.
