TEDxEscondido to launch inaugural event with 19 San Diego speakers

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The first-ever TEDxEscondido TED Talk is bringing a one-day event full of "ideas worth spreading" to San Diego's North County later this month.

The inaugural TEDxEscondido is taking place Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. The theme -- "Hidden No More."

Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED) Talks give presenters a chance to share their ideas in around 18 minutes or less.

TEDxEscondido starts with breakfast at 10 a.m.; the last session of the day starts at 3 p.m. An after party at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido Museum ends the day.
