LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock police have arrested a teen in connection to an April deadly shooting.
According to the Little Rock Police Department, 17-year-old Demario Phillips was arrested Wednesday for his involvement in the killing of 40-year-old Toney Fairmon.
Detectives said that officers were called to a shooting in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on April 29, where Fairmon was found with gunshot wounds.
Investigators said that medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene.
Phillips is facing a capital murder charge in connection to the homicide case.
