Crews were sent to search for a teenager who was swept away while swimming off of Huntington Beach Sunday night.
The incident was reported around 9 p.m. after two swimmers went into the water but only one returned to shore, Huntington Beach Public Information Officer Jennifer Carey confirmed to KTLA.
The missing swimmer has not been identified but was described as a teenager.
