SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego lifeguards on Tuesday rescued a 16-year-old girl who was buried in a sand hole at Mission Beach.
The incident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at 3000 Mission Blvd. near Tower 13, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Around 5:10 p.m., SkyFOX/KUSI in the Sky captured lifeguards digging and pulling the teenager out of the sand in front of a large group of people.
The boy was seen being walked over to a stretcher with first responders. His status is unknown at this time.
