Thieves cut down disabled parking sign to steal e-bike in Upland

Thieves used a saw to cut down a disabled parking sign and steal an e-bike in Upland Tuesday, police said.

Investigators said the incident occurred after a man rode the bike to work and locked it up to the metal parking sign.

"It didn’t take long for 3 thieves to see the bike, remove the license plate on their truck, and get to 'work,'" the Upland Police Department stated on Instagram Wednesday.
