IRON COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) -- The Third Canyon Fire, which ignited in Iron County on Friday, has spread due to strong winds, according to Utah Fire Info.

"Yesterday, strong winds increased the fire spread," Utah Fire Info posted on social media. "Last night, the fire was not as active due to higher humidity levels."

A total of 45 firefighters are on scene and expected to make progress on containment of the blaze Saturday. The cause of the fire has been determined to be lightning, officials said.
