Thousands of kids were able to come and pick out a backpack filled with school supplies at the Packz4Kidz event. The event organizers said the goal was to provide 3,000 low-income kids with new backpacks.
The event was open to families from the Denver metro area. Kids from preschool age to 12th grade were able to attend. Water bottles and lunch boxes were also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
