Torrance County issuing open burning restrictions

TORRANCE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Torrance County Commissioners officially passed a restriction on open burning. With the area experiencing dry conditions and high winds this week, officials have declared a fire danger emergency. Prohibiting open burning, ceremonial burning, and recreational burning. Restrictions will stay in effect for 60 days.
