Trump Bashing Chris Christie to Headline Event for Gay U.S. Republican Senate Candidate

BAYHEAD, NJ—Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a vocal critic of Donald Trump, is set to headline a major fundraising event for U.S. Senate hopeful Curtis Bashaw.

The event, priced at $3,300 per attendee, will take place on August 12 at Charilies in Bayhead. Bashaw, openly gay and a prominent hotelier, recently secured the Republican nomination by defeating Mendham Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner, despite Trump’s endorsement of Glassner.
