SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Two San Diego restaurants lost their Michelin Guide honors this week, while several other local spots in the culinary scene held on to their accolades.
Solare Ristorante
Solare Ristorante, an establishment serving up Italian fare in Liberty Station, was once awarded the Bib Gourmand, which is given to eateries that offer "exceptionally good food at moderate prices." Maybe it's due to inflation or perhaps other factors, but the Michelin Guide has since rescinded this recognition.
Some go-to menu items at Solare Ristorante include the Classic Pappardelle Bolognese ($28), Lasagna Tradizionale ($26), the Margherita Pizza ($17), among other dishes. Check out the full menu online.
FOX 5/KUSI has reached out to the restaurant for comment, but has not yet received a response.
