Two teens involved in car crash that left vehicle 'fully submerged' in Midland duck pond

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Midland Police Department responded to an accident that involved two juveniles who crashed a car into the Duck Pond at Wadley Barron Park.

According to MPD reports, on Monday, July 8, around 6:30 a.m., a 17-year-old girl was driving a Lincoln MKZ southbound on B street, when she allegedly 'hopped' a curb on the northwest side of the park, which caused the vehicle to crash and become fully submerged in the duck pond.
