U.S. Army wants their money back from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and the UFL: Report

(WTAJ) -- The United States Army spent $11M on a recruiting campaign, but they couldn't 'smell what 'The Rock' was cookin'" and now want more than half of their money back.

The Army allegedly spent $11 million on a marketing campaign with the UFL, co-owned by Hollywood and wrestling megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. However, they claimed they saw no uptick in recruitment, according to military.com.

Steve Beynon of military.com reported that he received documents showing that the army is looking to recoup $6 million from the UFL. The documents state that the Army did not get a single recruit from the partnership. In fact, they might have lost out on potentially 38 recruits, Beynon reported.
