SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- Over a month has now passed since this year's Utah Treasure Hunt kicked off, and the $25K still remains at large.
The Utah Treasure Hunt, ran by organizers David Cline and John Maxim, has become an annual summer tradition since the first one in 2020. Each year, Cline and Maxim work to create a riddle that once solved, will lead adventurers to the prize.
The 2023 hunt was the longest it took anyone to find the treasure, which was undiscovered for almost two months. This year's hunt may be right on its heels, as the riddle dropped on June 15 and the treasure is still undiscovered as August approaches.
Each week, Cline and Maxim release a set of hints through an email subscription to help hunters in their search. Here are this week's hints. Keep in mind you can view previous clues on our website at ABC4.com in the Utah Treasure Hunt category.
This week they started the email by saying: "This week we have decided to lay out the board so it will be easier to put the puzzle together if you are sitting on the correct pieces."
