Utah weather: Another round of thunderstorms expected with cooler temperatures persisting

The bottom line? Monsoon moisture will continue flowing into the state Friday with showers and thunderstorms likely throughout the morning and afternoon hours. Flood alerts remain in effect for portions of southwest Utah where the flood danger will be the highest. Temperatures remain well below average once again with highs struggling to get out of the 70's for many.
