INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Community Health Network will lift visitor restrictions at all hospital locations starting Monday.

The network originally implemented the temporary measures in December following an increase in respiratory illnesses during the winter months.

In Indianapolis, the following locations will have restrictions lifted:

  • Community Hospital North.
  • Community Hospital East.
  • Community Hospital South.
  • Community Heart and Vascular Hospital.

The change also affects Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo and Community Hospital Anderson.

While general visitation policies return to normal, temporary restrictions will remain in place for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at each facility.

Here are Community’s guidelines for the NICU moving forward:

  • No visitors under age 18.
  • Visitors limited to patient’s immediate family or as identified by parent.
  • No more than two visitors at a time per patient.
  • Visitors must wear a mask in the patient room when requested.
  • If you are experiencing respiratory illnesses, then you are not allowed to visit.
