SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- Happy weekend, Utah! A weak disturbance tracks through Utah today and a few showers and thunderstorms can't be ruled out where lingering moisture is present, which heavily favors northern Utah.

Drier air in the south should end the storms, but strong southwesterly winds could create critical fire weather conditions. You can expect seasonal temperatures this weekend along the Wasatch Front with mid 90s for both Saturday and Sunday, while St. George won't be too far off its average of 102º for this time of year. Low triple digits with gusty conditions should be expected in lower Washington County for the weekend.
