West Texas FC advances to Regional Final

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - After a slower-than-usual start, West Texas FC exploded in the second half of the NPSL Regional Semifinal to defeat Oklahoma City 1889 FC 4-1. With the win, West Texas extended its win streak to eight straight.

WTX Goal Scorers: Kareem Williams, Antoine Marques (2), Ethan Stevenson.

Goalkeeper Alex Aitken has only allowed three goals in WTX's three playoff games, with the offense outscoring opponents 11-3.

WTX will now face Columbus United FC in the Regional Final, with a trip to the national semifinal on the line.

West Texas FC will host Columbus this Saturday at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland.
