What to expect the last weekend of the San Diego County fair

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The San Diego County Fair is coming to a close, with just a few more opportunities to enjoy the fun.

The fact that there are three days left post-Fourth of July may come as a surprise to some locals, as this the first year that's happened since 2015. Officials with the Del Mar Fairgrounds said this extension was made to allow San Diegans to enjoy the fair throughout the holiday weekend.
