SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- Seven Utah athletes born and raised in Utah and nine others with Utah ties are competing for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics, according to the Utah Sports Commission.
Utah natives Haley Batten, Alex "Spiff" Sedrick, Maka Unufe, Taylor Booth, Whittni Orton Morgan, Conner Mantz, Courtney Wayment, and Patrick Hoopes are gearing up as the Olympic Games kick off this week.
In addition to those born and raised in the Beehive State, there are nine other athletes who attended high school or college in Utah preparing to compete, including well-known athletes such as Jimmer Fredette and Conner Mantz.
ABC4 has compiled a list of when these athletes will compete in the summer Olympic games. The times are listed in Mountain Standard Time (MST).
